I’m feeling a bit dumb at the min. I went over to autozone and picked up a fuel pressure tester and a compression tester. I marked the wires and pulled all the plugs. Started with cylinder 8 the one I was having issues with. Got 160 psi on 8 moved up to 6 and the gauge read 0. Went back to 8 and 0 so something happened to the gauge. Put all the plugs back in. And started looking plug wire 6 and 8 were backwards.
I grabbed the fuel pressure tester thinking maybe I had a leaking injector. So I checked it while i had it. About 45 psi when the pump is running and engine off and 32 with engine off after pump shuts off.
engine seems to be running fine now. Now on to the next problem.
