NV3500 to NV4500 Swap

Default NV3500 to NV4500 Swap

I have searched online forums, YouTube, etc and can't really find any straightforward info on this swap.
I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport, 4x4, 5.2 magnum, with the NV3500 transmission. I broke the 1-2 shift fork and the synchro's are shot. So I plan to upgrade to the 29 spline NV4500.
I understand it should bolt right up to the engine and transfer case. I am getting the bellhousing for the gas engine. I will modify the driveshafts to the proper length.
I need to find out if my flywheel, clutch and components will work from the NV3500 or do I need to swap in parts for the 4500? I can't find any good info on this. Any help is appreciated .

I think the NV4500 used behind the diesel, and 8.0 liter engines has a larger input shaft, so that is something you will need to pay attention to. (or check into some more.)

So far as I know, the clutch stuff was the same between the 3500, and 4500.....

Just out of curiosity where are you getting the gas bell housing? They are rare to find
