Default Transmission cooler lines issues !

I'm done getting stranded! This is the 3rd time this ***** setup has failed. The hose is coming off the fitting ever so often with these stupid screw clamps the last owner had. Has anyone beefed up these lines to prevent this? Has anyone done braided lines and can you send me some ideas. I want a permanent fix.

They is suppose to be crimped. If it is coming off you can flair the metal line to prevent it but they aren't suppose to be under that much pressure

this is the hose that keeps coming off going to the cooler itself. I m curious if a guy could get a kit with a new aux cooled with an fitting that just go right to the factory metal lines and delete all this garbage

What's on the end of that fitting? If it is smooth plastic line, then clamps are never going to stay on. If it's metal line, as the Fanatic said, flaring the end of it, and then clamping it in place will solve the problem.

Another option would be to get some unions, flare nuts, and the appropriate size steel line, and graft in a metal line there, or at the least, hose barbs.

when the line slipped off that fitting is smooth. Not even barbed..
I almost want to re do the whole thing. Including the trans cooler that has actual fittings on that. Then braided lines to wear it meets the metal transmission lines. No clamps anywhere! Lol I'd have to do some searching to find the right gear
