no access to a press was trying a spacer but couldn’t get them all the way in. There is an 1/8 inch gap I’ll mess more with it tomorrow.

Truck is back together but Now there is an occasional jerking while accelerating did I do something wrong with rear end or should I be looking at engine issue. Thank you again.

Jack up the rear, trans in neutral, turn things by hand. See if anything feels 'not quite right'.
