What year is your truck? If the computer doesn't know how fast you are going it won't shift the transmission. Could be a bad sensor or wiring. Download the factory service manual for your truck from the FAQ section. Wiring is in 8W

Output speed sensor is in the trans, drivers side. Vehicle Speed Sensor will be in the tailshaft housing of the t-case. Both are easily accessible without disassembling anything.
