RE: FIRST TICKET!!!!
I get realy lucky when it coms to that I was powerbreakin it at a stop light right after school and as I left the cloud (yes it was a one tire fire) I passed a cop and he just pointed his finger and shook his head? the cops around her are pretty cool unless you give them crap. If get pulled over and it's my fault and just dont argue and I havent got a ticket yet. knock on wood

RE: FIRST TICKET!!!!
Exactly. And same with my truck, when I know I am in the clear, I will oftern let the tires roast, and it seems to be the tire on the right side that breaks loose first as well. Kinda funny, I can get darn near 75 foot black marks on the pavement. And since my truck is lighter in the rear end, it really breaks loose easily.

I dont have a ram, but on the subject of cops, the cops here in my part of manitoba are really relaxed around cases of " Exsesive acceleration" and such. I could squeal my SX2.0 as much as i want ( or could ) , even right by a cop shop, and they dont mind! Sounds like the cops in that area are a bunch of @$$H0L3$ ! Thank god for the RCMP in the interlake region!

RE: FIRST TICKET!!!!
It sucks I know, I got a ticket the same night. 65 in a 55, what was bad it was right at the 55mph sign he was waiting right on the other side of it in the dark. No chance what so ever for me to get slowed down to 55. I know I know, should have already been slowed, but sign came up on me in the dark and just didnt get slowed. Says he would have just gave a warning but for some reaon the state was having a program that night that they ticket everyone with no warnings. So $83 out the window right before Christmas.

RE: FIRST TICKET!!!!
I hear Ya! You should have a "Traffic Law Center" or something close to it on that side of the state. Get it down to a non-point violation, if you haven't already messed up and paid it. Costs more now, saves a lot more later when your insurance bill shows up without a ticket on it. I got my first ticket when I was 18, 70 in a 55, got a ticket for 42 in a 35 on the way home from the f-in courthouse after paying the first one. Didn't have traffic ticket lawyers back then. Had to move out the state to keep my liscense...(1 more ticket would have screwed me) Moved to Indiana and got a new set of points. Nowadays I thank God for the traffic ticket lawyers in Missouri!
