Friday I got a ticket for EXCESSIVE ACCELERATION!!!! TWO days before Christmas!!! Aparently the Texas cops don't like you to spin your tires taking a turn.....IT SUCKS ***! But I'll get over it.

Oops! My first ticket was for "Exhibition Driving" up in Minot, ND when I was 17.....I was doing figure 8's in the schools mock driving area at about...30mph!! Oh well!

 

It happens to all of us eventually. Sorry to hear it was right before the Christmas..

how much was it? my first ticket was going 41 in a school zone but it was BS because there was no sigh on the street that i came off of that said i was in one so i got off it.

Man that sucks, I got my ticket for 'Excessive acceleration too. I was pulling of a parking lot and traffic was heavy, gave it a bit much gas, tires chirped. Heh, what the cop really loved is when he jumped out in front of my Ram, the tires squealed again after i slammed on the brakes. A frigging hundred bucks for it though. Stupid cop and his death wish.

But good luck with that man, sucks around the holiday season, cops' ticket books just itch.

When I come to US I'm always impressed how often cars have tires chirping! I's funny, even if you pull out from a parking lot at 3 mph they chirp!!

It's cool for me, like in the US movies, tires keep chirping all the time! I don't know why, maybe the asphalt, maybe the tires. Here in Italy if you hear a chirp it's because there's someone really speeding or slamming the brakes. after chirping it's common to hear a crash!

here it's common to get tickets because of driving an american car without side turn lights, or rear red turn signals and so on.. they really sucks, but often you get no tickets because you open the trunk, they see the cool V8 and get impressed. A friend of mine in Switzerland, after he arranged to avoid a ticket, was asked by the cop to start with a burn out! haha

the world is really crazy! :-)

 

Ive never got one for that,,,,,,yet. They always seem to have bigger things to hit me with instead.

That is total crap if you ask me. A lot of times tires spin when taking a turn especially in a turn and I'm not trying to show off or anything...
