Well I almost got snippy because you seemed a bit too thick-headed but you can trust us here. There's only a few left and we've had these trucks a loooooonng time. I got mine in 2001 and have done everything imaginable to it, except replace engine and drivetrain. This is my fourth exhaust I'm currently doing and just installed the Jegs last winter. Hoping to get a nice bolt in Flowmaster soon since my last kit rusted off.

I had a magnaflow stainless cat back exhaust would highly recommend it. Held up to PA winters just fine

I have the 14 inch magnaflow straight through muffler with a 24 inch turn down tail pipe. It cuts off just behind the cab and I don't get any drone or exhaust fumes in the cab..

I got it installed... it has been 95 or hotter here for more than a week so I took my time... I had to saw and grind and wire brush and file to get everything aligned and fitted the way I wanted it turned out good if I do say so myself....someone here said the clamps were **** and they were right..I bought heavy duty ones and air impacted them down...everything is solid and tight... I did not weld anything but if anything loosens up, I may....I want to thank yooz again for listening to me and advising me on this...

Dang, was it used? Mine was all intact and went on perfectly with hand tools. Sorry it was a pain.

Oh yea, the y pipe was fine and fit the manifold perfect and routed in with no problem... when I put my old muffler back on and tried to slip fit it into the end of the y pipe, I had to loosen the rear hanger, it didn't slip in so easy or far enough in..I had to use a section of the old pipe to reach the end of the y pipe, then I had to cut it again because it was too long and the ridge indentation from the old clamp stopped it from going in far enough so thats where I did some tooling and pounding...I probably created too much work out of the whole ordeal knowing me.. but it looks good and not sagging and not leaking or smelling..and sounds good...thanks..

Ah, I see. I only re-installed my cheapo glass pack with extension for now. I'm shopping "cat back" systems from ebay to finish it off myself. Glass pack sounds good at high RPM but around town it just sounds like an old clunker. Glad you got it on!
