Now WTH??? I just got a po138 and a po141... codes... I read its related to the downstream 02 sensor... I replaced the upstream sensor with a new one and used the non fouler on the downstream one but used the old one. do I replace that one too???

Put the old sensor on and see if it goes away. Did you get NTK? Anything else is a crap shoot.

I kept getting code po138 daily... and I kept researching the issue and came upon another website that suggested stuffing steel wool in the non fouler and then screwing the sensor in and that worked..its been about a week now and no codes...I thank you guys for listening to me and offering your expertise..

Good to hear you got it to clear up. Hope it works well. I still haven't seen a code on mine.

Just to update yooz....It's been working great, increased the power and acceleration and the sound is too cool. no CEL codes...I love driving that truck now..I don't even check MPG.... who cares about the price of gas, I don't! . I did have the connections welded and that helped the flow and the smell. It wasn't that bad but it helped. A big bonus is that I got $234 for the old cat... that pretty much paid for most of the job right there! Thanks again for all your help.
