Default Front AC not working, but Rear AC is working

This is for my 1998 dodge ram van 5.2L. Quick background before i get to the AC below So after months of not having my climate control dials working because i had no vacuum, i finally think i got the vac lines in the proper placement. The vac lines that go into the rubber inlet into the firewall and link to the climate control; i couldnt/cant find a schematic for the proper order...anywhere at all. I even have the original book for this van and i cant find it in there either. I compared with someone else with a similar van, swapped mine around, and everything seems to be working...i think.

That brings me to the AC that now officially works (i never had it working before..rear or front). The rear one is blowing nice cold air which im happy about. The front one however is still just either heat or fan. Is that related to having to swap a vac line position? I doubt its that because that wouldnt make sense. So under the hood, i traced the aluminum pipes (suction lines?..idk) to the compressor and i think its all okay. The one line is cold and dripping the condensation, and the other one is warm/hot (i think thats normal?). Other various parts (accumulator i think its called) are cold as well with condensation. So that being said, why is front AC not working but rear one is? I'll send pics of the particular setup if you need them

Think I would have a look at the temp door for the front heater box. It's likely vacuum controlled.... (though, it might be a cable.... never know with dodge around those years....)

Do you hear the door thump if you move the control from full hot, to full cold?

Heater box? Yeah i might send some pics in my post so we are all on the same page. Since i think i got the vac lines hooked up properly now, the climate controls work now (floor, face, defrost, combined...etc) and i can hear the doors opening and closing. I dont think thats what you're referring to though, right?

Yep. There is a door in the box the redirects air flow, depending on if you want heat, or a/c. If the door isn't moving, then the temp doesn't change. It may just not be moving thru its full travel as well.... Or, you might have a plugged orfice tube. Or a selection of other fun things.

So the rear ac is independent i take it then since it works? It does have its own **** (well, just to turn it to different blow settings). So if i can hear the doors closing, and working properly, then where is this issue of this door you're referring to? I can check again but i dont think i hear any audible changes when dialing from hot to cold

Okay so i turned the heat dial and i dont hear anything. Max heat is very hot, and if i go to max cold, i can feel it as more of a fan/warm temp. So maybe its kinda working?

I did research and was told the AC and heat are unrelated and on two different systems though, so kinda confused

Can you pull the blower motor, and feel the evaporator core for the front A/C? Is it getting cold??

Most vans the front end rear are separate. The lines getting cold and the other hot is normal. Feel the cold one closer to the condensor (looks like a radiator in the front) if it gets hot then your office tube is likely not clogged. I would do what HeyYou suggested if it's getting cold then you have a blend door issue.
