If that's the case, they have gotten a LOT cheaper......

I think the hughes kit came with a 'steel' gasket, something I had no desire to use.

well it was a private seller so he probably bought it and didn't need it so he sold it for dirt cheap. Yea im definitely getting a fel pro. One more question. The intake I got from the donor truck seems to be different from the one on my current truck. Different vacuum ports. Will the two interchange? As in bolt my current one on my new engine when it comes time?

i was referring to a cold air intake, the intakes fine as long as you correctly fix plenum,

factory intake is already cold air

they went way down, I did my plenum last year…kit from Hughes with the Fel pro gasket option cost me $160

What year is your truck, and what year is the donor?
