Default Random miss fires

I have a 2000 2500 with the gas 5.9. I changed the plugs and wires about 5000 miles ago. Now when I did it my father-in-law has had the truck since 2004 and said those where probably original. But they were gapped enough for a semi to drive thru, but the truck ran awesome. Since I've changed plugs and wires, I have had problems with it running. It idles funny and dies. It will also die at stop signs randomly. The C E L. has come on randomly and shut off randomly as well. When I get a chance to read it, it says random mossfires and misfires on 2 and 7. Today it also said 5. I did change the cap and rotor a couple days ago. After I did the plugs I did replace the TPS already but it's still doing the same thing. I am stumped. Can anyone help?

Look into the TSB (technical service bulletin) about routing your plug wires. You may be experiencing crossfire

Sorry I haven't gotten back in a little while I forget about posting things lol. I can't remember what brand plug I put in. I know they weren't the cheapest or most expensive but they were up there if that helps lol. And I'm **** the gasket is original. I just replaced the TPS again because I broke it trying to disconnect it to test it. But when I cleared the code again cylinder 3 showed a misfire. A friend told me to check grounds which i haven't done yet but what do you guys think?

I don't think grounds are your problem. How many miles on it?

there is 206k on it but the body looks like it has 350k on it. It's all original and my f.i.l. owned it since 2004. I did the cap and rotor about 3 weeks ago. before I bought it, it sat a lot and had been drivin for a long time with a bad TPS and since I bought it I have put two in because I broke one. It also surges while driving but not until I've been driving for about 2 hours straight.
