agreed. This has been part of my problem; I can’t trust that something I already replaced hasn’t lead me I the wrong direction. This is why I looked at the crank sensor three times and still don’t 100% trust it.

ex. Using the Kranks sensor as an example, I contacted a Dodge dealer for an OEM replacement. And was informed that they are discontinued to no longer make them.

Push/Pull starting only works with a manual trans...... Automatics don't do that trick.

haha, what I meant was to pull it with another vehicle, with it being a stick.

You said it has spark but won't fire on starting fluid. ??? Wires in the correct places? If crank/cam sensor was bad you wouldn't have spark.

correct. Yes, wires in the correct firing order. Regarding “if the crank/cam sensor was bad you wouldn’t have spark”…this is good to hear and what made sense to me, just wasn’t 100% sure.

it’s just: if I have spark and I have fuel pressure it comes down to…

timing out for some reason (plan to check the dist for movement)
Heater sensor? I had read somewhere it can dump too much fuel. But doubtful for a no start I’d think.
possible CAT, but a little hard to believe with having some flow during attempted startups.
known plenum issue, but states earlier should not be related to no start condition.
what I’m I missing?

Does it even crank? I can't find where you've mentioned what it does. When you turn the key what happens? The manuals have the clutch kill switch that can go bad and you get dead key.

You said it began to run rough for a few days, right? And then totally died? Again, no crank? Have you confirmed all the engine and computer grounds are intact? Grounds are everything!

yes, it will crank all day just no start.

it began to run ****ty with loss of power coming home from work. By the next day or so during troubleshooting it turned into a NO START from there. I have looked at a few grounds and at least reseated the PCM ground. Overall this pampered of a truck with approx 38k miles grounds look pretty good but I don’t to overlook anything so thank you for the reminder.

How are you checking for spark? I would think, if the plugs were actually firing, starting fluid should light it off for at least a couple seconds......

How's the battery? Alternator? Coil? Air box clear? Mice in intake tube?

Exactly! Try starting it (crank it a few seconds) then remove the plugs. See if they are loaded up with fuel(wet). If so that would explain the no start.
