Was the engine pre 1998 or 1998 later? Was it a 5.2 and you put a 5.9 in it? Need a little more info

I figured it out but the no bus code came back on and it's a 2000 with a 5-2 and a 5-2 is what came out of it

That generally implies something on the 5 volt bus has an issue. Trouble is, there is a LOT of stuff that uses that 5 volt signal, and one of 'em shorting out somewhere takes the whole thing down. You can try unplugging sensors one at a time, and see when the bus comes back. (unplug with ignition off, turn ignition to 'run', (not start) see if it works now, if not, move on to another sensor, if it does, the last one you unplugged is the issue.)

Since it won't even crank, have you checked your battery to ensure that its fully charged? The other thing you can try is to put the truck in neutral and try to start it.

I think the neutral safety switch needs to be replaced

Did it crank after putting the truck in neutral? If so, the shifter linkage may need adjusting or possibly the neutral safety switch might be bad..
