Default Cab mount break/cargo light

I have a 97 ram 1500 that I changed the break/ cargo light to a aftermarket LED light. Now the break light stays on all the time. I messed around with the wiring a little and I can either have the break light work or just the cargo light but not both. Anyone know how I can fix that so they both work?

Put the incandescent bulb back in. The way its wired, it is always powered, and LED's aren't real friendly with that.

I suppose for the Third Eye, you could change that...... But, I really don't recommend it.

I had to on my third brake light. I have a way to do it in my restoration thread. It involves soldering and isn't that hard
