Evap hell
So just recently I was driving and I lost all power and my truck virtually just died so I get a towed back I can barely get it to start and it'll barely hold 500 RPM for my code reader says it's po441 evap, all cylinders misfire so I replaced the purge solenoid, no help, is there a way to bypass the entire system so I can start my truck and have time to fix this problem later. so my truck is a 1997 ram 1500 4x4 automatic 5.2 V8

out of sync is that for cam/crank? could be clogged cat, plenum, fuel pump, o2 sensors, crank/ or cam sensor, the evap code is a generic code, as heyyou said that’s not going to cause this….with what you described id try taking out pre cat o2 sensor and see if she fires up
also can you view live data on that?
also can you view live data on that?

On scan tool if you can monitor live data, select cam and crank sensors and rpms and view in wavelength form, they should match pretty much up, if there is inconsistency the the one out of 3 that’s doing it will be your culprit
hard to understand, I have a snap on modus scanner and that’s how I always figure out cam and crank sensor failures in my shop, takes legit 3 minutes to find out
