Default Loud airy sound

Got a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9 V8 Magnum.
Making a really airy sound and wanted to know if anyone knows what it maybe.
Thinking the AC compressor pulley is bad because it stops making the noise if I lube the belt but the ac compressor pulley slows down almost to a complete stop for a few seconds.

Don't lubricate the belt..... not good for it, or the engine-driven accessories.

Take the belt off, spin all pulleys by hand. See what you find.

The fan on my '96 sometimes makes a loud noise like an airplane propeller. Don't lube your belt. Oil rots rubber and causes slippage like you've noticed.

Making a really airy sound
Have no idea what a "airy" sound is but from what you describe it may be the belt. I have sprayed brake clean on belts and it will stop the squeak until it dries. Another way of testing instead of spraying lubricants on it. If it's a bad bearing that's another story.

Default Solved

Turns out it was the AC compressor pulley, the bearing was terrible got it replaced and put on a new belt and sounds normal now
