Default 2001 Ram 1500 High beam on one side low beam on ther side

I just purchased a 2001 Ram 1500 and noticed that when i turn the headlights on the driverside is high beam and the passenger side is low beam. When i switch the high beams on it all flip flops. What should i do so my low beams come on together?

Make sure you have the correct light bulbs. See https://blog.betterautomotivelightin...and-9007-bulbs The non-sport model uses 9004. This is a frequent source of confusion especially with chinese LED lights that pretend there is no difference.

Does it have the sport package? (4 headlamps, instead of 2)

When I converted to the sport headlight system and wiring harness, I ran into the same issue. I replaced the headlight bulbs that came with the aftermarket sport headlights with American Sylvania Silverstars which solved the problem for me.

I have the main headlights and the small circular fog lights. I went and took the bulbs out and i have one 9007 and one 9004. Im unsure what is the correct one to keep.

If you have a 4 bulb headlight system, the bulbs should be 9004 and 9007. If you have the two bulb headlight system, the bulbs should be 9004.
