I just wish the parts were better
And on that, I will most certainly agree. Today, it's all chinese junk..... I miss the days when I could pull a new part out of the box, and actually expect it to work.....

Maybe this is what your looking for? https://www.ebay.com/itm/20280706993...Bk9SR4rgtd_9YA

I got this for my 99 5.2 46RE when I was having slipping issues. Make sure it fits your truck.

Yeah, that looks about right. I’m just gonna put in the overdrive/lockup solenoid that I got from O’Reilly, but if it ends up not fixing my problem then I’ll warranty return it and probably replace the torque converter.

I appreciate the info! That’s a good kit for pretty cheap, I take it it’s held up pretty good for you so far?

Today, it's all chinese junk
And buying parts off ebay is supporting it! If you look at the listing it says"Brand:USA Industries" who is that? Did web search for it and nothing comes up. It's probably chinese parts mascaraing as from a usa company. Just as there is a "aftermarket" parts brand known as "OEM" just to confuse people and make them think it's a original equipment manufacture part. If you shop on ebay use a well known manufacture with their part #. Ebay also has tools that you can use such as country of origin. It's not saying that it's made in the us but will cut down the amount of chinese junk.
