If you don't go crazy, or tow beyond the trucks rated capacity, you should be ok.

My comment was more toward which is better. I would rather have the 46RE than something like the t-5 that GM used.

In the hilly country that I live in, and some of the heavy loads I used to haul, an auto made my life MUCH easier.

Have a read here. I would be tempted to go with the Ram clutch, just because.... Ram.

I got just under 100k out of the factory clutch… replaced it with a RAM Power-Grip clutch and it’s still going strong at over 220k (120k+ on the clutch), so I’m happy enough.

As a side note: the stock clutch has (I believe) an 11” disc… the 12” disc version works just fine.
