5.9 magnum intake plenum RTV?

If its one of the paper/viton gaskets, no sealer is necessary. Or so they say..... Hughes sent me a metal gasket with their kit, I used the fel-pro gasket that can in the intake kit instead. I didn't use any sealer. Don't forget the lock-tite blue on the bolts for that plate though. You do NOT want them fellers loosening up, and falling out.

I agree, I've never used any type of sealer on them, some super mechanics will preach use right stuff and the original metal plate. right or wrong, I like the idea of the aluminum plate if that makes me a sucker so be it, but I had my last one welded on, so no more worries for me in that department
I've never seen a metal intake pan gasket before, thats a different thought. I always ordered ebay copies for the aluminum pan, much cheaper and tehy came with a paper gasket, but I used the felpro in the upper gasket set i bought anyway because i know what it is lol, not some cheap paper gasket
