Spline count should be the same, in the DHD t-case, it has a wider chain.

I went to a junkyard and couldn’t find a driveshaft worth taking (or slip yoke)
i did however pick up a transfer case out of a dodge Dakota with what may have been a 5.9 magnum but I’m not certain.
mainly curious if these will bolt onto a 46re

Was the transmission in the Dakota a 46RE? Also, what year was it?

there was no transmission in the Dakota. Someone already pulled it but the door jam card said built in 98 IIRC
