Folks, I'm having my front end worked on. I also need shocks again and would like some recommendations please. I'm a general contractor with a lumber rack on the truck and sometimes haul pretty heavy loads, and mostly do highway driving. So what's a good shock for the old gal?
But those 5100s say for off-roading and lifted vehicles with larger wheels? 99% of my driving is highway and my truck is pretty much stock.

Bilstein makes very nice shocks and they should last the remaining life of the truck. Can't go wrong with them. KYB used to be my go-to budget shock for years. Unfortunately, their quality has slipped a bit over the past several years, so I no longer use them.
The roads here are worse than the trails so a good shock is a must(our tax dollars don't go to fixing roads
). I had Rancho's since i had my truck(4X4) But i want to put on the Bilstein's.

I've got Rancho 5000 series shocks on the front of my truck now and they're pretty much worn out now. I ran across a new set of Rancho 7000 for the front that I plan on installing when I add the leveling kit. The rear Rancho 7000 shocks work like a dream, although I probably should have gone with Bilsteins as well...Originally Posted by Moparite

Guys, I'm thinking I'll get the https://www.kyb.com/products/gas-a-just/, but they don't show anything for my 1995 Ram 1500.
which ones do I get, and do I get the same ones for front and back?? I don't tow but do sometimes carry heavy loads, and have the stock tire size
