Default Transfer case

Hello all hope everyone is well. On to the problem at hand. My question is I have a 1994 2500 v10 4x4. I can get ahold of a 1998 2500 v10 4x4 will the transfer case and rear end and front brakes swap down to my 94

Transfer case won't have the provision for the vehicle speed sensor on the 98, so, you would have to shuffle some parts from one to the other to make that work. (essentially rebuilding the t-case), Rear end will likely work, might have to change the yoke on the pinion though. Not sure on the front brakes. And of course, the gear ratios in the differentials have to match as well. Otherwise, things break.

Looking at calipers on RA for a 4wd front, it appears they're the same listings. OP, double check me before spending your money!

I'm not sure on the V10 but make sure you dont have the D44 front axle, some LD V8 2500s got em, especially in 94.

In my experience the provisions are on the transer case output shaft to install a drive gear and C clip, then you just need to use your 94 tail housing to have the sensor mount location

You also have to swap around some hardware and linkage as 98 is when the 4x4 shifter went to be mounted to the floor of the cab instead of the side of the trans, and the transfer will also have a different shift pattern so make sure you steal the **** or the chip out of the **** to swap

V10 won't be a light duty. I don't think that model was available after 95....

The 2500's came in two versions, the 7500 and 8800 GVW. See what you have, I know the rotors are different between the two (thicker i believe) so i would think the calipers would be also.
