Possible clogged pump?

Fun part is even if I have my existing engine head to machine shop or drop different one I still need to chase down what's causing the miss, the cylinder with broken bearing had 130# of compression and spark. Would checking fuel pressure with key on but obviously can't start be enough to tell me pump good or bad without running it? Thanks

It will give you an idea, but, no guarantees. See what pressure builds to at initial key on, and how long it stays there before bleeding down.
