agree, no doubt transmission fluid. Level right in the middle of the hash marks while hot in neutral.

Maybe put some dye in it, and hit it with a UV light??

I may just try that. I’m wondering if it’s the front band apply pivot pin plug. That plug is directly above the fluid, I did not remove the plug during rebuild.

Did you put the thin gasket between the pump and case?
