OOOOoooooo... someone is going to have some fun. 4.88's? Hope you have some good size tires in mind, at least 35's.

Do you have the lunchbox lockers for front and rear?? Real interested in hearing how that drives when you have it all together.

That looks a little out of my comfort zone.

Actually, it *seems* a lot more complicated than it really is. With the right tools, the job is, well, not exactly "easy", it IS a fair bit of work, but, definitely doable.

The only thing I have ever done rear end wise was change out a bad bearing so I did both at the same time. Maybe after a few good videos. I maybe would attempt. I wish PR1A the best in doing this. He sounds like he has it under control. Going to enjoy this thread if he post pictures as the progress.

The first one I messed up and didn't go so well. I put the new pinion and bearings and forgot to retighten the pinion nut, this is back before the internet. Rotational torque, what is that. The others got simpler as time went on. 5-6 hours on the first one, a rear. I did the front the next day and nary a problem. I worked on Navy aircraft for 20 years, became ASE Master during that time, and removal, upgrade, reinstallation of weapon systems after retirement.

The C9.25 out back requires a crush sleeve. Spend $20 for a crush sleeve eliminator kit and a headache. The D44 doesn't require a crush sleeve for our trucks, pinion depth is done with shims.

The bearing separator was $89 with the 2 clam shells. $129 for the one with 4 off the auction house . It is the same kit as the $600-$700 I see on the different auction sites and web.
