Take it back to where you have the work done. See what they have to say.

It would have to be REALLY cold for thick fluid to be a problem. My truck starts/runs/drives/shifts just fine, even when it is -20 farenheit..... I think they are feeding you a line.

sorry my first language is not English

I bought this truck 1month ago.

and that time I saw maintenance list.

my trans is already all fix 4years ago.
.

3days ago my trans oil seal and trans oil change after my trans have a problem.

Before parts change transmission was no problem.

truck is cold start. my transmission is neutral => drive cant moving my gear lever

but gear lever pull and down and moving to D and gear lever is push. gear lever is moving.

If trans oil is hot very smooth moving my trans gear lever.

Shop say "cold trans and cold oil is have that problem"

they say "cold weather.. Oil is sticky.."

I think They are lying

I want fix this problem

Ask them to send you a picture of the transmission fluid they used.

My shifter gets stiff at -35c but not that bad.
