As the title says, looking for one. I can not find one on ebay. This is for a 1998 that has the flip down cover. Does anyone have one or know what I am doing wrong to not be able to fine one on ebay?

Mine was stolen when my truck was stolen in November.

Do you have a pick and pay style salvage yard in your area? If so, I'd check there 1st and pull it off yourself. In this area, the pick and pay yards post their vehicle inventory online, so you can see if a suitable year truck is available in their yard. Another option is to check the numerous Facebook Dodge Ram 2nd gen parts groups. Some will even allow you to post a photo and information of what you're looking for (want to buy ad).

 

I need the entire part - socket, housing and cover that fits in the upper right hand corner of the dash next to the air vents, off from the dash cluster.

 

Thanks. We have a pull a part in the area, but its 45 minutes away and I have a notice created to alert me if a truck is added to the inventory. So far, the newest truck in inventory is mid November. Is this 12v power outlet specific only to the 1998 Dodge rams? It is mounted to the dash in the upper right corner, next to the air vent and off from the gauge cluster..

 

Probably 98-01 1500's, 98-02 2500/3500s.....
