its was an ebay brand, which i have had good success with my other cars, but the misfire #1 cylinder is still a concern I have to triple check the gap and spark wires cylinders 2-4 and 1-3 spark plugs were dry when i last checked them.
Update, i was still getting hi volts b1s2 and misfire #1, I looked inside cylinder 1, spark plug was lil wet, but the piston was wet, i thought it was oil but looks like it was fuel because my spark plug 1 wire was touching the exhust headers and it was arching so I fixed that with some good old duck tape and elec. tape. so no more misfire idle was good. but hi-volt b1s2 is still there probably cause of the hi flow cat or ebay os2 sensor but i will fix that with a 90 degree adapter soon.
Im gonna need more help. I cant get rid of the hi volts sensor 2. I added the 90 degree elbow and I also replaced it with a spare new working sensor with resistance between the 5-6 ohms. Still hi volts. I tested the wires on the truck side, 13v engine running to the white wires elements to the sensor and i got 4v engine running/off to the black/gray wires to the sensor. At this point im not sure what route to go, any one can shine some light
For whatever reason, the rear O2 is reading really rich. Looking at fuel trims though, that simply isn't the case. The sensor is seeing very little oxygen in the exhaust stream, maybe a bad cat??
so i tested both old and new sensors and both had good reads for the element and both made there own voltage when heated up. Even tho i read good voltage for both the elements 13v and pcm signal of 4v yesterday, and the upstream is working correctly maybe its my ASD relay or something thats affecting it, im gonna go and use my power probe this time to take the readings on the trucks side of the B1S2 connector instead of my multimeter
UPDATE i used a volt meter and i got 13v for the elements side and 4v from the signal wire on the truck side of connector . and today i used my power probe and i got ground on 3 wires with key on and 13v with engine running. the only wire i did not get a reading from either off or running was orange w/black it was neither hot or ground that same wire on the sensor side is black wire. And today it decided to work for not reason nothing had changed the only thing i did before taking measurements was i swapped my ASD relay for another one and that's all and it seemed to get working as it should. I do not know if that ASD relay had anything to do with it working again, i did try to look for a break in the wire on the truck side connector b1s2 but i couldnt find one
In the third shot there, sensor 2 is showing .16 volts.... in every other shot, it is .6 or higher... is the voltage switching at all?? Or does it just remain steady? I also not, in shot 3, the engine is up to operating temp.... In the first two, it ain't quite there yet....
yes the B1S2 is now switching, I do not know why its working now, since i couldn't find a break in the wires, I did how ever swap my ASD relay to see if it would help before taking measurements this AM.
If the truck runs, the ASD relay is doing it's job. It also supplies power the coil, and injectors.
There is like a relay for the O2 heater circuit, but, you are getting voltage there, so that one seems to be working as well. Maybe just been a bad connection? And playing with it a few times, cleared it up? Clear the codes, drive it for a while. See what happens.
