Default 5.9 Magnum no start

I have a 1997 Ram 1500 with a 5.9 Magnum. Battery went dead the other day and tried to jump. Truck would start then instantly die. Now the truck will only crank. Alarm starts going off as soon as power is hooked to truck.

Just replaced plugs, wires, coil, cap and rotor. Truck still just cranks. Has fuel pressure at the rail. It will fire if you pour gas in the intake or spray starting fluid. The truck did run before battery died. When truck runs it has loud air suction noise from throttle body. Not sure if that’s normal or not. No codes shown.

Did you get a fully charged battery installed in the truck to-date?

have had battery on charger. Tests out at 12 volts on load tester. Think battery could be the problem?

The alarm is more likely the problem. Does it still go off as soon as you hook up the battery? Will it disarm?

no the alarm will not go off. If the battery is hooked up the alarm is going off
