Does anyone know where to find these running boards for a 1997 dodge ram 1500?

Those running boards look like they come as part of a ground effects kit. Given the age of the truck, I suspect you would have a hard time finding them separately.

Those are usually a custom conversion set up. Companies like "Choo Choo Customs" usually make those. Look around and see if you have a label or sticker from a conversion company.

I have a 98 with the factory ground effects package… I tried to find the tread inserts but came up dry trying to find anything on them.
Old aftermarket stuff you can still find, but factory there’s nothing.

I’m going to cut some aluminum tread-plate and black power-coat it.

Unless you’re lucky enough to spot what you want at a wrecker, I’m thinking you maybe out of luck.
