Do you have a scanner that will talk to the PCM?

Will your scanner communicate with the PCM when the No Bus is present?

yes it will, everything on it is working fine.

Should i also mention this problem wasn’t always happening when i got the truck, at first it was just the speedometer cutting in and out, one day after power washing my truck, on the way home i went over railroad tracks, i was going about 30 and it was pretty bumpy. Its what made speedo fully cut out and made my abs and brake light turn on.

A few weeks down the road and the “no bus” starts happening randomly when im driving down the road. Figured i might add this in not sure if itll help any

When the no bus comes up, do ALL the gauges stop working?

Might pull the cluster, and check the connections on the back..... If the diagnostic port still works, even when the dash does not..... seems like that would point toward a problem with the cluster, and not necessarily the comm bus.

Will do that shortly, what connection pins should i test?
UPDATE: i have the cluster disconnected and the connections look good on both sides, i took a multimeter to them and im getting 11v on one pin and 12v on another (blue connector) on the other connector
(green connector) im getting 12v in 2 different pins and im also getting 2 pins really low voltage one fluctuating between 0.65-.90v and the other fluctuating between 0.75-1.05v (Key is On)

The cluster gets all its info via the com bus, for what to do with the gauges. Likely those low voltage connections.... Just make sure they are clean, and tight, and there is nothing obviously wrong on the back of the cluster.
