So the cluster seems to be good..... unless its an intermittent problem... those are always fun.
Check the wire harness from the rear speed sensor, as far as you can go forward.... See if anything obvious presents itself.
i will check the wires later in the day while im at the dealership i plan on having my truck hooked up to there scanner to see if it can point out what the ABS light is lit for
i remember u asking if my truck ran better before it heated up and i hopped in and went straight for a drive and it did seem to actually run better when it was cold, after it had warmed up i notice it was a bit more sluggish on acceleration and shifting was a bit more sluggish.
Im going to disconnect them both and them go for a drive and see how it does
I probably never noticed because ill let my truck set to warm up and im mostly driving highway

Could it be that my Tone Ring has gone bad? Ive seen online that the tone ring COULD be my issue, i can get it from the dealership relatively cheap for around 30 bucks
Yeah, but changing it is a right pain in the keester.... I believe it bolts to the carrier between the flange, and ring gear.... which means, tearing the entire rear end apart. That is a major undertaking. That said, the tone ring is just a toothed wheel. It doesn't physically contact anything, so, there really is no reason for it to 'go bad'. Unless someone had the cover off, and broke it.... You could likely inspect it easy enough thru the sensor hole, with a bright flashlight, and a mirror....
I got rid of all the old wire loom until it goes up into the frame so i could clearly see the wires and i couldnt see anything cut, touching or pinched, no corrosion.. Went ahead and tested rear connector and im getting 4.83v POWER. This is with the ABS module plugged in and key ON
Also did a ground test at the ABS module wires and it read 12.52v to GROUND with module plugged in and key ON
Here i am testing the Rear Vss sensor that sits on the rear axle. It is reading 01.9Ohms. I have the multimeter set to 200k… Is this a normal reading??
