Nope. Low beams will turn off when high beams are on.

I believe the outers are low beams.

Are your headlights really yellowed? Aimed properly? On both my 2nd gens, (neither had the quad headlamps) the headlights absolutely SUCKED. I bought new bulbs, new housings, and the heavy duty relay harness for them, and life was good. The headlight switch in these trucks were marginal to begin with, and there are many horror stories of the switch getting hot, and melting things, if not burning the truck to the ground. Even worse if you have the clearance lamps on the roof.....

Add the heavy duty harness. What it does is, feeds power to the bulbs directly from the battery via relays, takes the load off the switch, and gives better light.

Keep in mind, you need the one specifically for the Sport model truck.
