Default 1995 5.9 runs and drives but...

If you let it sit for more than 15 minutes after you shut it off it won't start again for a few days. I'm stumped. Put in a new computer and still have the same issue. Any pointers before I throw a match in it? 😂

5.7????

What's missing when it won't start, spark, or fuel?

The engine should be a 5.2 (318) or 5.9 (360). Which one do you have?

Damn autocorrect, it's a 5.9. I've tried to change it 3 times but it won't let me.

Are you getting spark coming off the coil? Also, is the check engine light on? If so, have you connected a OBD2 scanner to see if there are any pending or stored codes? Try this video to diagnosis further and let us know what you find -

And that's the cap you don't want to use, Aluminum inserts. You can get codes by doing the key dance.

That sounds like a heat soak issue. I'd look at the crank sensor. A bit hard to get to being on the back of the engine but if it cools off and works, it has a hairline crack inside, it will expand when the engine heat gets it hot. The crack will open the circuit. When it cools off or the engine is running and air is flowing, it will work.
