Default Transmission

Hello! I have a two-wheel drive, 98 Dodge Ram 2500, 5.9, 12-valve diesel pickup. I need a transmission for the truck. I found a transmission out of a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 four-wheel drive. Can I put a two-wheel drive tail shaft on the four-wheel drive transmission?

Electronics are not compatible. Governor pressure sensor/solenoid, and trans range sensor (neutral safety switch) are different.

Try using car-part.com to find a transmission that will work for your needs. I find that site to be very helpful in finding salvage yards that are likely close to you for finding that type of thing.
