Hey guys, new to the forum and Dodge world, I came from a 1997 K3500 with a 6.5. My current is a 96 Cummins, Nv4500 swapped. My problem is that ABS does not work, at all, so the self test light does not turn on. I consulted the previous owner and he said all he remembers doing is unplugging the sensor on the rear diff. I plugged it back in, no change but then again it’s absolutely filthy. However, I preemptively bought new relays for the light and motor, thinking I’ll also need those to reactive the ABS. However upon further inspection the fuse box in the engine bay does not even have wires to the respective slots for the ABS system, only a 20A fuse in the cabin on the driver side. I attached a picture of what I saw in the engine bay. Owner disabled it due to interference with his trailer brake controller.
You may want to reference the factory service manual for your year truck and have a look at the wiring diagrams that relate to the ABS system, since it sounds like the prior owner may have modified/butchered them. You likely only have RWAL, which wasn't really all that effective..... Does the ABS light test when you start the truck?
Yeah for reasons only the enlightened gods at Chrysler of days past know the rear wheel only ABS is not wired at the underhood fuse box/PDC at all. There are two fuses (14 and 20) in the inside fuse panel and no relays.

Because it is a really simple system.... Just a dump valve, controlled by the PCM. Doesn't need a lot of power.... It's just two solenoids.
