Where did you purchase the silicone hose? I need to replace the plastic underhood line, too.

I bought this kit from amazon bc I needed to change out some other things. I also found out there is a grommet next to the brake booster. I am going to drill a hole through that to attach my line to the climate control.

These pictures are temporary. I have the "T" hook up just for a pressure test. So I found a rubber grommet next to the steering shaft by the brake pedal. I ran my hose up along the firewall and then over the break booster and though the dashboard so I could connect it to the climate control. After that I test my vacuum pressure to make sure there were no leaks and it was about 18. So I should be fine. But now I am not sure if my climate control is working. Now that the hose is directly connected to the climate control I keep hearing a hissing. from the air. Does that mean it is normal, or there is a leak in the climate control or is my check valve on wrong?

See if you can localize the hissing..... If it is constant, you have a leak somewhere. I expect to hear some when things are moving though. But, when they stop, so should the hiss.
