So I jumped the relay and it started then died and just cranked afterwards so nothing changed. And for the ignition switch I took it all the way out and jumped the pk with blk strip to the solid blue which turned the dash lights on then jumped to the blue with yellow stripe which cranked the engine and it did the same thing. Am I doing that right or is there something else I need to do wire wise?

 

And I am getting power with the ignition on to the control side so with key on I have 2 12volts and with key off I have 1 12 volts cavity 30 always hot

 

Is it something I did on my end to make it do that with my post?

 

Gonna change the distributor and swap the TPS today those are the only 2 things that haven't been replaced under the hood sensor wise

 

I'm done with it hauling it to the crusher!

 

Hold on don't crush it. These trucks are getting hard enough to find with lower miles as it is. Does the truck have any kind of security system (oe or otherwise). Did it honk at you at all when turning the key on?

 

No alarm or anything like that if that's what your talking about and IDK if it has a built in security system or not. Would it say security on the cluster if it has a built in security system in sure it would

 

It might be just a red light, with no real description.

 

I'm not seeing or finding anything that could be an alarm or security system

 

And I still have to approve each of your posts..... Hhhmmmm........ That's just not right.

Probably didn't have factory alarm then. One less thing to worry about.
