Does your truck even HAVE the temp sensor? On the 95, it would be an external sensor, on the trans line at the front of the trans, right there by where it hooks to the trans.

yes it is attached to one of the trans lines with a two wire plug

Probably reading in degrees C, instead of F, but still, that translates to 194.....
