When I had intermittent shutoff issues with my truck, it once shut down on the road while driving. I pulled over and plugged in my scanner and found a code that stated the crank sensor was going bad. To get me back home, I removed both battery cables, touched them together and re-installed them. The truck started back up and I made it home. I ordered a MOPAR crank sensor from an eBay seller (dealership) to replace the BWD crank sensor I had installed a couple of years earlier. Once I installed the new OE crank sensor, I've had no more issues to-date.

BWD What really gets me is they have a NASCAR endorsement. As per google...
"BWD Automotive has been recognized as a NASCAR endorser through its partnerships with entities like Advance Auto Parts. BWD's engine management products, which are designed to address issues with original equipment, are featured in these partnerships, highlighting the brand's focus on quality and performance. BWD's involvement in NASCAR extends beyond sponsorship, including offering VIP racing experiences to technicians and shop owners, as seen in the "Race to Charlotte Sweepstakes". "
"highlighting the brand's focus on quality and performance"

I bought a BWD crank sensor many years ago because I was in a jam and didn't have choice. It started having issues a few weeks after I put it in. Here is what they focus on I then put in a Delphi brand and it's been in there ever since. They are discontinued from the factory but you can still find them. If anyone needs the #'s,

I take it that these OE crank sensor part numbers are for the v8 magnum engines with automatic transmissions. Are the manual transmissions the same part number(s)?

They are not. Different lengths. Not interchangeable.
