Also I seen where this is a recommended grease (Obviously Grease gun friendly) that works with urethane bushings where I do not know where I could get the Energy suspension recommended Energy suspension Formula 5 grease in a tube like that Synthetic grease
There's a post further up from PR1AWRet with a link to shackle bolts with the grease zerks in the ends. The bolts are drilled through and will grease the bushings from the middle. Those should work well for your Durango. I believe the Formula 5 grease is for assembly. I've never seen it in tubes for grease guns.
@Jimythefan Thanks for this info, I would only have to drill out the sleeves to allow the grease to get to the bushing but that's not to much of an issue if you have a good center punch and a drill press handy. I did come across more info since my post and the formula 5 is not in a 14 Oz tube but I did see a tube of grease used by a similar urethane company and listed on suspension.com but its at the cheap price of $78 No not a typo. But as well I seen the super lube silicone lube is basically almost exactly the same as the formula 5 and much cheaper. I may just be over thinking this with those grooves maybe ill never need to grease but I still want to be prepared and know what I need to get just in case I hate being caught unprepared. I was al ready to get back to installing the rest of the bushings, Ball Joints, etc but the weather decided it should start raining like 1" an hour then stop just long enough for me to notice to go outside and get down poured on again. 3X i may just call it a rainout and try tomorrow..
Yep. There's always another day. My project went way longer than I had planned. Getting grease to the bushings and sleeves is always a good idea. I ran out of time and ambition, but life can be weird like that.
