Default D60 front stub shaft length

I need a stub shaft for a '97 D60 front with the captive rotors (square center hole, retained by press fit of wheel studs)

I have a '99 or '00 axle I can use as a donor but that of course has the easier-to-service slide-on rotors.

Did the stub shaft lengths change as a result of the brake change? @AtomicDog What about the inner shaft on the driver side?

Do you mean axle shaft? Dana 60's came in two types, The 7500 and 8800 lbs ones. The rotor you are after is the 8800lbs one. You should get the BOM # off the axle and get the dana part #'s when ordering parts. Brakes are not Dana that's Chrysler.

Unfortunately, I have not compared the internal parts of the Dodge Dana 60 units that closely. When I did swap my Dana 60, it was in the rear axle and I swapped a complete Dana 60 drum brake rear for a Dana 60 disc brake rear. I have seen stub shafts (and the inner axle) for sale on Rockauto.com & eBay in the past. Might want to compare the stub axle/inner axle year/application to determine if the later year is a different part number for the Dana 60 or not..

Ok it looks like '94-99 were early and '00-02 were late. The early stubs are 7.050" and the later are 7.390"

The Dana 46901 is the earlier and what I need for '97. I didn't get the later part #

Unfortunately my donor out back is an '01 so it won't help me on this '97

Not sure how much you want to pay for this, but can also try this - https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=dana+46901

I ordered the Spicer 75689x which I believe is equivalent and has the slinger (unlike the Dana part #)

Did you use the BOM # to look it up? They have two listed the one you have and 74777X.

Yep it's a 610729-1

The LH axle assy is listed as a 76472X which contains the stub of 75689X (this part # includes the slinger) and inner shaft 75594X

Interestingly, apparently Dodge considered this BOM to be a 1997.5
