Don't know if the later model trucks has the same issue, but, headlight switches and connectors were a problem on earlier years.

You can download the service manual for your truck from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W. That'll help tracking down the problem.

The melting headlight switches/connectors pretty much went away with the introduction of the rotary style light switch. In contrast to the convoluted headlight switching the parking/marker lights are straightforward: Fuse F in the PDC feeds power to the switch and the switch output goes to the marker lights. It also powers the instrument panel lighting, so question to the OP: Does the instrument panel illumination work ? If no, the problem is before or possibly inside the switch. If yes, the problem is after the switch, there is one of Chrysler's infamous splices somewhere that ties all the marker lights together. Follow the black/yellow wire.

My instrument panel illumination works all that works although my horn also doesn't work but when i press it the right side marker turns on so assuming my wiring is just a huge mess

Please clarify: all four corners aren't working or just the front marker lights ? The horn and the right front side marker share a ground so the old rule applies: When there's light where it shouldn't, it's a ground problem There are a couple of ground connections on the driver's side front, on the inner fender shield.

Yeah it's just the front marker lights that aren't working

Very likely a ground problem in the front then. Check the grounds as suggested above.
