Default 5.9 360 camshaft position sensor

Anyone know the part number for the camshaft position sensor on a 5.9 360. Ive tryed everywhere and all i can find is the sensor for a 5.9 cummins.

Part number is 56028143. Listed as a switch in the mopar parts book. Parts store probably calls it a pickup coil. Discontinued from Mopar....

Yes, this has to be one of the worst part terminology disasters I've worked with, in the end pickup coil usually delivers

Any advice for how to remove the rotor and keep the correct timing?

No issues there, just pull the little feller off, replace the sensor/switch/pickupcoil/whateveryawannacallit, stick the rotor back on. It's keyed, so only goes on one way.

The rotor tends to fit on the shaft pretty tight, but it just pulls upward to get it off. As long as you don't move the distributor, timing will not be affected.
