last night me and a buddy was riding dirt roads celebrating my 21st birthday and it rained a couple of hours and been raining alot here lately and thats all it takes for the slick Georgia clay my 35s could not hold the road for nothing i sled into a ditch that was about a 50 degree angle or so and had to ride in the ditch cause couldnt catch traction to get out i probably road 75 yards before i come up to a curve and put it in 4 low and gunned it and barely made it out got up this morning and went and looked at the damage and my truck is scratched all down the side and the part that holds on my radio anttena is broke and im pissed about it my point is i will never recommend bf goodrich all terrains to anyone ever again in my life

Feels good to rant doesnt it!

Sorry that you messed up your truck.

I also hate BFG I call them clone tires because most people buy them for the name not having a clue about the traction qualities.

Only problem is good traction tires will cut down on your fuel economy and add noise to the ride. I would recommend something with deep tread that can cut into the clay. Its a trade off.... good traction = more road noise. I could care less about noise and like to build things that are ready for anything. lol

Good luck...

21st B-day huh? Sure you weren't wasted??? [sm=partyparty.gif] I've had BFG AT's on all three of my trucks and am more than pleased!! They outperformed the Goodyears, the Wild Countrys, and the Bridgestones in my opinion. But they're definately not a Super Swamper for sure...

I would suggest to go with some maxxis Buckshot mudders.

Ya, I can imagine that clay would most definately cause a problem. Thats one of the drawbacks of the BFGs, or any all terrain for that matter. They don't clean out well at slower speeds.
