I have a ram and it burns oil and knocks sometimes. So my question is that I need to fix it and im wondering what you guys think is gonna be wrong when i tear it apart? I was also wondering if there is sometihng like a crate rebuild where i can do that to my motor and fix it and get higher performance then stock? but i dont wanna bore the block and i dont wanna buy a new crate motor.

New set of heads/intake /TB/cam you can even go as far as putting new rings in. Don't go to radical, but you can tie up alot of cash at once. As for the burning oil, could be valve seals, rings or a serious intake gasket leak, have you looked inside your TB yet for pooling oil?

PLENUM, look down the butterflies in the throttle body with a mirror and see is there is any oil pooling in. How many miles on it, the valve seals are known to last a very long time in these and chances are it is not the rings. If it lets out a puff of blue smoke (oil burning) on startup then it is most likely your plenum gasket. If it is not that, which it probably is, then you should probably do a compression check to check the rings.
