Most of the little code readers won't do ABS codes. Need to go to a shop, or someone that has a "real" scan tool for those.

Could be brake switch, e-brake switch, or any of a number of other things as well.

I have checked the emergency brake switch and it is fine. I went to test the Brake pedal switch but it is 6 pins, so not sure which pins are which without replacing the switch.

What else to check?

Get the codes read, and then you will know exactly what it is whining about.

Default ABS Reader

Any suggestions on where to go to get abs read for free? I had some idiot at autozone try to swear to me his code reader read abs but I knew it didn't. I absolutely know my abs does not work. I even replaced the RWAL sensor and same. I can't find anyone to scan me for free

If your speedo is working properly, then likely the rear wheel speed sensor is doing its job. That said, there have been folks that bought the 'cheap' one, and still had issues. Just because a part is 'new', does not necessarily imply that it will work...... (on your truck, speedo gets it's cue from the same sensor though. So, if speedo is working, it's prolly fine.)

May be a bad brake lite switch as well. I think there are some troubleshooting steps in the the FSM, which you can download from here.

You have an output speed sensor on the trans, but, if it were going bad, first symptoms you would see is strange shifting behavior.

Hm. Also the abs and brake light don't always come right on when the vehicle is started. Some times they won't come on unless I have to do a hard brake.
