Default glass packs? or other mufflers?

alright im throwing a new cat on my truck and while im at it i going to a dual exhaust set up.... now i was in a store listening to sound clips for the diff mufflers.... and they all sounded good but i liked the way the glass pack sounded... in knwo the glass pack sample wasnt on a dodge so here is my question.... has anyone ever run glass packs on a dodge? does it sound good? or would a dyno max sound better? those are the 2 im stuck on... either way its getting dual 2 1/2 or dual 3's out the back... whitch do you guys think is ebtter... i want a loud and agressive sounding truck but it still needs to sound nice

check out www.spintechmufflers.com
heard a pair of them on a dakota r/t with headers and an x-pipe. very nice crisp clean sound and very sharp on throttle. i would put 2 and a half inch pipes on it, just depends on what you are wanting.

If you are planning to get dual 2 1/2" or 3" exit pipes, you may want to do a search on the topic of exhaust pipe size. There seems to be a consensus that pipes over 2 1/4" in diameter on a dual exhaust will casue a loss in low end torque. I personally have dual 2 1/4" exit pipes and never lost any low end torque while gaining some high end power. Just something to think about before getting a system.

wel right now i got a set of true dual 2 1/2 ' pipes going all the way back with a set of lfowmaster mufflers 1 for each pipe.... and it comes out as a dual exit with 3 1/2' end piece's.... think that would work well? i was also thinking about cutting the flow's out and putting glass packs in
